This series of panoramas is the result of numerous journeys in search of the darkest and clearest skies in the world.
As a landscape photographer, I am always looking for wild, untouched places, but artificial lighting in cities makes this task increasingly difficult.
Sometimes you have to travel hundreds of kilometres away from settlements and into the desert to see a pristine sky.
These images were taken in the desert of the United Arab Emirates, the island of Tenerife, Utah and Namibia, and I always include a human figure in my panoramas to show how small man is in comparison to Nature.
