Haute & Cold is a still-life fashion story for V Magazine, photographed by Nicholas Duers, drawing from the Arctic landscapes of Scoresbysund, Ilulissat, and Svalbard. Informed by Duers' travels and personal work in these regions, the series references towering icebergs, glacial erosion, and the force of extreme cold. Luxury objects are staged as if emerging from, or preserved by, frozen terrain, exploring the tension between permanence and fragility. The work frames haute fashion as relics shaped by time, pressure, and climate, echoing the beauty and precarity of a disappearing world.

Nicholas Duers currently operates out of his photography studio located in Midtown, NYC. A graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, he specializes in still-life photography of luxury goods, fashion accessories, and beauty products.
