In the mist, a young tree stands in the shadow of older structures. Still inconspicuous, almost overlooked, it asserts its presence in the space between becoming and being. The image speaks of beginnings, shelter, and the quiet force of growth.

I work with analog photography, using large-format cameras.
I am fascinated by what happens when time, light and silence interact.
The slow pace of work demands patience and attention. It opens up space for perception.

I find my inspiration in nature, in the immediate surroundings, in transitions of light and weather, of proximity and distance.
I am not interested in the spectacular, but in the inconspicuous, the quietly present.
I consider myself a painter of light.
