The photo was taken with a camera converted for infrared photography and a 550nm filter. Infrared photography still requires extensive post-processing.

As a result, Paris, the city of love, now shines in pink. The special coloring is intended to give the picture a positive and hopeful mood. The photo is intended to convey optimism in difficult political times and remind us to look at the world with an open and confident eye.

Photography has always fascinated me, but it becomes my private passion in 2015. From my earliest childhood I have a strong affinity for the sea. Since I moved from Berlin, my birthplace, to the Baltic coast in 2009, I can regularly enjoy this wonder. Gradually, I finally discovered the macro and then the infrared photography. Rarely i am traveling without my camera. With the camera in my hand, I forget about time and and everything around me. Rain and storm are promising style options. Accordingly, these moments are rare, because I also work in a very different area full time professional.
