Praying Alien

An intense close-up reveals the alien elegance of a praying mantis, highlighting subtle hues of green and brown that blend seamlessly with its surroundings. It was very welcoming and still, allowing for a very slow 1/40 shutter handheld. The angle I was able to achieve positions the concrete sidewalk lining the yard as the background.
