Yggdrasill

I chose to name this image Yggdrasill because of the visual and symbolic similarity between this incredible event and the mythological figure of the tree of life in Norse mythology.
In fact, the volcanic eruption creates an upside-down tree, made out of molten, seething rock, whose roots reach into the womb of the earth through the crater, developing a mighty trunk that eventually branches out into an intricate, luminous crown.
