On the morning when I was photographing the sunrise in the city, suddenly white smoke rose from the city at sunrise, and the sound of fire truck sirens was incessant. This sudden fire added a doomsday atmosphere to the morning city landscape in addition to the original beautiful oblique light. As a photographer who was on the scene and recorded this image in real time, I also felt that everything is impermanent, and that we need to pay attention to safety in life. I hope that the city of Taipei that I love deeply can always be safe and beautiful.
