In "Art de Fact" I explore the zeitgeist — from the fading weight of facts and the rise of affect over reason to a "new prudishness" bordering on censorship and the increasing digitization of life. Using experimental, photography-based montages and collages that blend reality with alternate fragments, I craft each piece digitally, without generating any image components using artificial intelligence.
Andreas Kremer, living in Cologne/Germany, began his artistic path after he had worked successfully in business for many years. Never losing touch with photography during the years, 2014 he changed his focus completely to photography as visual art, and hasn’t put down his camera since. In 2019 his first photobook TENSION was published by KERBER Verlag and awarded gold a short time later.
Like in his last project “The Last Resort”, in "Art de Fact", he is using the collage technique in a modern, digital form.
Awards Meanwhile my images were awarded by international photocontests, featured by online magazines as well as exhibited in galleries. For instance at Kolga Photo Award (Georgia), Tokyo, Budapest and Moskau International Foto Awards, The Independent Photographer, IPA International Photography Awards/Px3, Lensculture, L´Oeil de la Photographie, Leica LFI, Esquire, DER GREIF, BBA Gallery, Michael Horbach Stiftung and others.
