The “Reenactor” series captures the vibrant essence of military cavalry Reenactor Jim Nawrocki as he breathes life into the past. He immerses himself in the experiences of brave
officers who faced critical life-and-death decisions.
This series features a blend of traditional portraits and digitally enhanced composited
environmental portraits that transport viewers into the worlds Jim inhabits. These images
invite the viewer to reflect on the narratives of bravery and sacrifice, bridging the gap
between past and present.

Terry Vitacco’s work has been exhibited in both solo and group exhibitions, and she has garnered numerous international accolades. Notably, she was recognized as the Overall Winner of the Julia Margaret Cameron Awards, with her work showcased in an exhibition in Barcelona, Spain. Additionally, she received Silver Awards in both the Prix de la Photographie de Paris Awards and the Budapest Foto Awards in 2024.
