This image was taken standing on the underside of the Humber Bridge in Hull, UK. I chose the name 'Underbelly' as whilst I was standing directly under the bridge, I could hear the noise of the traffic travelling across the bridge, but couldn't see the vehicles moving across it, so in effect it leaves to the imagination as to what could be above on the topside. I processed the image in a fine art style to draw the viewers eye from above and takes them to a distant point whilst maintaining an air of mystery.
I live in Ayrshire on the west coast of Scotland and my creative journey has evolved over the years. My main interest is architectural photography. Over the past few years I have become more immersed in the Black and White Fine Art genre and predominately focus my time and attention into learning and developing more of my photography in this field.
