Sadly recently I lost my father. Life is a journey. Dying is a journey. After death the journey continues. This project is a vision, created through inversion, as response to his leaving the earthly manifestation and returning to spirit. It came about intuitively, the images and the technique imagine another world, perhaps the planet Venus.
Venus is the brightest object in the sky after the Sun and the Moon. As such, it has a prominent position in human culture, religion, and myth. It has been made sacred to gods of many cultures, and has been a prime inspiration for writers and poets.
