By focusing on capturing portraits of my own family, I have discovered profound layers of human suffering. It amazes me how suffering can manifest itself in our appearances and how the dynamics within a family can shape our life stories. Suppressed emotions manage to find avenues of expression, untold narratives scream for attention, and finally, they yearn to be released. At the end of the day, they linger, waiting for an opportunity to break free.
