By focusing on capturing portraits of my own family, I have discovered profound layers of human suffering. It amazes me how suffering can manifest itself in our appearances and how the dynamics within a family can shape our life stories. Suppressed emotions manage to find avenues of expression, untold narratives scream for attention, and finally, they yearn to be released.
