“Iron People” tells the story of the war in Ukraine from the perspective of the country’s railway workers and their families living and working along its vast railway network. The work explores themes like family- and community resilience, loss, sacrifice, exodus, critical infrastructure, war-time logistics and the military significance of railway. Iron people shows the struggle of Ukraine's railway workers in the hope that it does not go unnoticed. The project was produced over a two-year period since the start of the full-scale invasion.
