In December 2006, I was a volunteer to a Medical camp from Uk. We went to Sierra Leoan to hold these medical camps in a small village which is 50km north of Freetown. The country had gone through war with neighbouring countries, and what we noticed as we were travelling to the villages after arriving at Free town, that there were still signs of war damage buildings, roads and fields.

The photograph I took of is of serious injured people involved in a road traffic accident which happened 50 km from our camp. We treated them, and here you can see them being transported to hospital by lorry.
