The journey to motherhood isn't a easy path. My husband and I experienced highs and lows, from the announcement of my pregnancy to the loss of our child, and the difficult choice to terminate the pregnancy due to a genetic problem.
A few months later, we embarked on a new journey, this time using IVF (in vitro fertilization) in the hope of finally becoming parents and breaking the cycle of transmission of the gene that had already caused us so much suffering.
Through my series, I hope to invite viewers to explore the complex and diverse journey that is motherhood.
I am a French photographer based in Paris.
I make photographs using film. Through my work, I look for stories, moments, and scenes from daily life. When I'm not taking photographs, I like to spend my time in the darkroom printing my work.
