A lake that dried up.

Lake Urmia is the largest saltwater lake in northwest Iran
The water level of the lake has decreased significantly in recent decades and by 2022, 95% of the lake has dried up
A new study by several researchers in North America shows that the drought only caused a 5% decrease in precipitation in the lakes catchment area and that human factors include ambitious water-economic development projects along with the construction of a 15-kilometer highway on the lake with a small 1/2 valve Kilometer has brought the situation of the lake to a crisis that they used the mountain near the lake to build it
