The big fish chased the small fish and rushed out of the water together, passing the egret. The egret looked surprised and did not know where the small fish would go under the laws of nature? Just like a poem: I pass by you, you come in a hurry, and before I realize it, you have gone far away, leaving me with a regretful back. Biodiversity fills the Earth with vitality and is also the foundation for human survival and development. Protecting the biodiversity of the Earth requires every human being to work together to protect the environment and live in harmony. （Taken in Xiamen, China）

Xiaoping Lin, a Chinese bird photographer, has been engaged in photography since 1992. His work vividly depicts the behavior of birds, bringing visual enjoyment and contemplation of natural laws to people, allowing us to rediscover the infinite charm of nature. Through his bird photography, he hopes people will learn to cherish our environment and gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of nature to promote its protection and development.

Awards 1. In 2022, the work ‘Pass By’ won the First Place of the Wildlife group at the XPOSURE International Photography & Film Awards in UAE, invited to attend the award ceremony, the photography works were exhibited at the XPOSURE Photography Festival.
2. In 2023, the work ‘Pass By’ won the Winner of the Winged Life group at the BigPicture Natural World Photography Competition in the United States, and exhibited at the California Academy of Sciences in the USA.
3. In 2024, the work ‘Fight To Win Or Die’ won the Merit Medal of the Diversity at The 12th season of the Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum International Photography Award (HIPA) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
4. In 2024, the work ‘Skysurfing’ won the Honorable Mention of the World Of Birds group at the 34th Memorial María Luisa International Mountain and Nature Photo Contest in Spain, invited to participate in the award ceremony, the photography works were exhibited in Asturias.
5. In 2024, the work ‘Fight To Win Or Die’ and ‘Skysurfing’ won the Honorable Mention of the Bird Behaviour group at the 33th International Wildbird Photo Contest in France, and exhibited at the 33rd Bird and Nature Festival.
6. In 2024, the work ‘Pass By’ won the Animals in their Environment category Honorable Mention at the Siena International Photo Awards in Italy.
7. In 2024, the work ‘Pass By’ won the finalist of the exposure award category at the Head On Photo Awards in Australia, invited to attend the award ceremony, The work was exhibited at the Head On Photo Festival 2024 in Sydney.
8. In 2024, the work 'Pass By' won the Winner of the bird category at the Nature’s Best Photography International Awards in the USA.
