The landscapes of Namibia are truly special. Soussvlei is definitely one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited.
The trees in the middle of the huge dunes create a picture that is second to none.
Due to the extreme dryness, they rot very slowly and have therefore been preserved to this day.
The tree skeletons have a total age of around 850 years and therefore died in the second half of the 14th century and the first half of the 15th century.
