On 2015 I started a documentary social project at a Girls’ Home in Oaxaca. The girls’ curiosity, vulnerability, energy, and joy in the face of adversity spoke to me and became ties that united us forever. From this inspiration a project was born with the goals of providing sustained support to them and raise awareness, from the affections and spontaneity, about a social problem many times ignored. That’s why I want to contribute to give voice to them. Photography is a powerful communication tool that can break borders, expand boundaries and make edges between "different worlds" less sharp.
