Built in 1970, this ten-story walk-up apartment complex, one of Seoul's oldest, faces demolition. Once a symbol of affluence, it now stands as a fading relic, its future uncertain. The previous city administration planned to renovate it into affordable housing, but the current administration envisions a cultural complex in its place. Of the original 352 households, only 27 remain. Their laundry dries on lines, packages wait in dim hallways, remnants of food deliveries offer glimpses of life amidst abandoned waste, frozen gas meters, and darkened corridors.
