Photographed near Niland, California, a small outpost near the drying Salton Sea, now populated by those disenchanted with modern society, many living off the grid. It's often called "the last free place on earth".

Kelly Conlin is a Boston-based photographer focusing on street and documentary photography. He began his interest in photography at a young age, starting a photography business while in high school. After a career in media and technology, he rekindled his interest beginning in 2022 with the purchase of his first DSLR.
