I took this series hundreds of miles offshore, in the heart of the ocean. As a photographer, traveler, and sailor, I cross oceans where waves rise high, the wind howls, and our sailboat rushes through fierce storms. My camera transforms this frightening experience into a source of art and helps me find peace in its raw power.
These waves are not like those that die gracefully near the shore; they play freely freely in the vast ocean. Each curl is full of strength, power, and delight. Each photograph captures the ocean's pure energy and majesty, where waves live in wild, ever-changing glory.
I’m Tali, a Sailor and a Photographer, traveling with a sailing boat around the world.
I was born and grew up in the USSR, studied history of music and organ at the Conservatory of Gorky. In the beginning of 2000 I moved to Israel, where started sailing which soon became the passion of my life. In 2017 I started together with my partner a circumnavigation from Malaysia.
Living and travelling by boat, I discovered my deep passion for photography, especially capturing the dance of the ocean waves.
For years I was learning photography on my own. Experimenting with shooting and with photo editing.
