There is a small cove, a magical cove in the autumn when the hillside on the other side lights up as the sun comes up. This cove can be found in Harriman State Park in New York State. From mid October to the first or second week in November there is a color change in the hillside that reflects into the cove with lily pads. As November nears, the colors get deeper, more blue skies can be seen thru the trees, some of the lily pads fall to the bottom.
