Where does the tree end and the rest of the world begin?

The essay brings a journey through everyday life, through intimacy with things, inviting the contemplation of the extraordinary present in the trivial, using the imagination as a vehicle for a journey through universes created when one photograph joins another, and another, and another. Structured in polyptychs, always four in number, in an allusion to the lyric of sonnet stanzas, where the narrative and its rhythm take place within a poetic metric form. The polyptychs were created in 2023 from analogue photographs executed on films in 135 and 120 formats taken over the last three years.
