Green cabbage, Cabbage green

In French, Green cabbage, Cabbage green is used to qualify things or situation thought of as different which are yet very similar.
In a colourful surrealist image leveraging the reflections in mirrors, the photographer tackle the expression literally to questions the mental processes we use to identify or differentiate people or things.

Photographer based in Brittany, Rachel Daucé currently works on her Literally series, which aims at questionning the language and its subjectivity, and by extent our relation to others and to reality.
Anchored in surrealism, she creates colourful, multi-layered compositions in order to tackle various relevant modern topics and let ultimately the viewer come up with its own interpretation.
