Traboules Lyonnaises

Lyon's mysterious passages called "Traboules" are believed to have been developed in the 4th century AD and have witnessed human needs as different as speeding up the silk trade or the meetings of the French resistance during World War II. A relevant characteristic of the Traboules is the pastel tones used in its decoration, together with unique architectural elements. The challenge is to convey with images the calm and respectful silence that is perceived when moving through labyrinthine networks, once secret and currently protected as a World Heritage.
