“Alone In The City” tells the story of people who are alone with themselves and with the city in different areas of the city, at different times, in different seasons.. These are the stories of people we do not know in places we do know, which we will read from time to time with sadness and from time to time with curiosity..

I’m a professional photographer based in Istanbul, specializing in street, travel, and documentary photography. After spending many years in the financial sector, I returned to photography—a passion I’ve carried since my youth. Over the past decade, my work has received recognition in international competitions and been featured in various respected publications. I focus on subtle, human-centered narratives—quiet moments, urban stillness, and cultural rhythms—captured across cities, rural communities, and diverse geographies.
