I took the original photograph of the crescent moon as it appeared to recline in an old growth fir tree. I live on an island in the Pacific Northwest, considered the rainforest. To capture the moon's phase was alluring. I used the digital file as my base medium, highlighted by its pixel influences extracted by a Macbook program. To utilize the Preview format, I drew over the image with Draw and Paintbrush tools, essentially finger painting. My photographs are of nature content; enhanced responses to evolution or subjects of intrinsic beauty, embellished with spirit intuitional characterization
