The Valhalla Bridge in Bothell, WA is not used anymore. I was the adjoining bridge from the Golf Clubhouse out onto the golf course. I've always found the sweep of the bridge beautiful and well designed. Seattle was overtaken by forest fires smoke burning in the nearby mountains last summer. This image shows the smelly smoke hovering in the valley and creek around the trees by the bridge. The filtered sun gives it a mystical look and a rather medieval dynasty like impression.
Marianne McCoy is an American fine art photographer who grew up in Spokane, Washington. Her extensive career has spanned 30 years. Education includes Cornish College of the Arts, University of Washington and The Photographic Center NW in Seattle. She has exhibited nationally, internationally and has been published many times. Teaching advanced classes in lighting and Lith printing was gratifying. McCoy is sought after by those that appreciate her unique style. Marianne is living in Seattle, WA has closed her studio for health issues but continues her daily creation and passion of photography.
