By implying torment in serenity, beauty in sorrow, I research about the
communication between what is meant to be seen, and what shouldn’t be shown, but still is. When making portraits of people, I fascinate about the connection between myself and the other as much as I want to show the vulnerability of the human figure and how the inner fragility can be seen in their bodies and gestures, which is where photography limits itself. Or not; for it is within these very limitations that photography reveals.
