For 400 million years sharks have reigned over our oceans. Yet it took us just a few decades to almost eradicate them. Fin trade + industrial fishing bycatch combined with low birth rate + late sexual maturity, with 100 million killed each year sharks might soon be completely extinct in a total indifference, offense of facies obliges. With this series I want to go beyond the prejudice, show their beastly aspect, but also the incredible mixture of grace and power which emanates from them. From fear to fascination, I hope my images can help changing the way we look at them before it's too late..
