"I paint flowers so they will not die" - Frida Kahlo
Frida Kahlo’s statement inspired me to develop this series. I want to focus on the poetic beauty of flowers and plants. White, symbol of purity and brightness is dominating. The unnecessary disappears – only a FlowerLine remains.

Based in France, I’m a German architect and amateur photographer. I’m influenced by a clear and reduced architecture, bright spaces and simple forms and feel attracted by everything that is sober, subtle and pure – what has finesse. For me photography is a kind of purification of my mind and a concentration in a double meaning. It’s a research to reduce the subject to its minimum, its so called essence.
