The shadow of the show. Poking around the circus is an infinite journey: dressing rooms, wardrobes, pieces of sets. Dynamic balance, very tidy and chaotic at the same time. Blades of light and shades of dark serve the show by creating its own and private alter ego. The artists show off their make-up while waiting to be on stage.
Circo Paniko is one of the first and largest contemporary circus companies born in Italy in 2009. About thirty free artists blend circus techniques, theater, dance and live music.
Fiorella Baldisserri, is a freelance photographer based in Bologna. Since 2016, she has attended courses on photography and a one-year Masterclass in photojournalism in Rome.
