Annual Ripon College, Wisconsin, teacher and students celebration of support for BLACK LIVES MATTER anti-racism movement, March 3, 2022.
Students had just completed reading their essays and poems and sharing their artworks supporting the Black Lives Matter anti-racism movement and political philosophy in front of a prominent, permanent, painted brick wall, which their preceding Ripon College classes had painted in the town of Ripon, Wisconsin, birthplace of the Republican Party. Students are chanting loudly, "BLACK LIVES MATTER!"

I have always said that the late photographer Harold Feinstein was my greatest teacher: I took a class from him in NYC and building on his techniques, rolling our own Tri-X, pushing it to 800, and walking the streets shooting whatever attracted us for less than a penny a shot. I shot B&W for 10 years (1967-77). I studied Color Photography at You Mind's Eye, Falls Church, VA. Since retiring from teaching on the Navajo Nation in 2014, I created Tom Jones Photography website, now 35 galleries, and 17 different jurors have chosen 11 of my color and 9 B&W photographs for fine art photo shows.
