Arctic Summer

  • Prize
    Bronze in Nature/Wildlife

Very little is actually known about what polar bears do in the Canadian Arctic in the summer, inspired by this I knew I wanted to give the world a unique look into the summer lives of the arctic apex predator. Camping with them for over 33 days we were able to capture many unique moments and show the less elusive and solitary lives of these amazing animals. I love how these images showcase the bears in an environment we don't often associate with the arctic.
