'Close Encounters' From the collection - 'Surfer Girls', Byron Bay.
Byron Bay is Australias playground for celebrities, models, artists, health gurus and of course surfers. Many people regard this relaxed, hippie town as one of the top places in the world to visit.
In this series I wanted to create a loose, natural black and white imagery with narrative that reflects the typical lifestyle of Byron Bay.
This image shows a close connection between friends who feel comfortable with themselves. Smoking and drinking and feeling free yet both in deep thought.
