A re-imagining of the monastic origins of Meteora, Greece, employing a blend of large-scale landscape panoramic imagery and human portraiture.

Meteora is a rock formation in central Greece within which caves have been inhabited since antiquity. Hermit monks were its earliest documented dwellers. Later, the site became host to one of the largest and most precipitously built complexes of Eastern Orthodox monasteries.

In the absence of access to the interior of the monasteries during the current pandemic, the series is a stylized depiction of the location, rather than a documentary work.
