Rocca Calascio, Italy.

A village, repeatedly destroyed by earthquakes and rebuilt that was eventually abandoned by its inhabitants (1950s). A population of wolves living in the surrounding mountains that passed from being persecuted to be protected (1970s). Global fame for having being the location of an Hollywood blockbuster telling of the love between a wolf-man and an hawk-woman (Ladyhawk, 1980s). A generation of descendants who is going back to the village, 1400 above sea level, to try and give it a new life. A village that is a metaphor of the stormy adventure of human events.
