In the photograph, we see a woman in traditional clothing looking at the sea and people in contact with it from afar. Her back is turned to us and she watches the landscape that stretches out in front of her. There is a long distance between the woman and the sea and people enjoying the sea. Because of this she cannot fully relate to the ocean. Maybe she also wants to be in contact with it but her traditions and beliefs prevent her to do this... or maybe she is just watching the sea and enjoying the view.
Gino Ricardo is a motion graphics Designer who recently started doing photography under the name Fleeting Pictures. A camera that has been bought for taking videos on holiday rapidly changed into a daily habit. During his 1 hour lunch break he roams the city to capture interesting play of light and shadows on buildings.
