In Shezi, Taiwan, every year in Lantern Festival, young men lift Earth God Sedan to pray for luck, prosperity and health, using firecrackers from door to door. This can be seen as the rite of passage for young men in Shezi. The tradition has been passed down from generations to generations more than a hundred years.
