Portrait of Fear

Fear. During the last years society lives under fear. Fear of breathing, fear of going out, fear of touching, fear of living.
This series is part of a larger project on identity, and in this chapter the idea is to identify fear, or the lack of it. My son became the protagonist and through him we live together situations where fear or the lack of it provoke certain questions in me. Fear has many faces, it can take many forms, but the important thing is to respect fear and use it as a tool for personal growth. Today we are all like children in front of this common enemy.

Dom Fernandez (Barcelona, 1982)
"Starting from a concept and using reality, with a documentary style I capture notes that help me explore philosophical and spiritual questions in order to develop a debate through a personal visual essay."
