Being in nature and slowing down, my senses heighten and I literally start to see and hear more. I peel away all layers to be left with the essence. My essence of nature, simple and uncomplicated. This gives a feeling of true reality and an unbiased reflection on life.

I’m not only going out into nature to photograph, but also to balance my daily life. In our world full of obligations and distraction, caring for our own true nature is often overlooked. Nature, including human nature, is at its best when she can roam free. If we don’t take care of nature, we don’t take care of ourselves.
