Fire in the Sky

Donner Lake in California, sits surrounded by wonderfully skiable mountains. On an uncharacteristically calm evening I watched the sun set over the horizon, and several minutes later the clouds were dazzled with the reflected light of the set sun. Small concentric ripples in the water were graciously placed by a nearby dog chasing a tennis ball.
