Terroir

This project is in the Western Cape of South Africa. Here the workforce are native black Africans, and most of them not particularly linked to the territory, coming from various parts of Africa. The majority are young women, who sometimes come with elegance and sensuality. My research does not have purely documentary purposes, but is aimed at interacting with the characters of the scene through the camera. I look for poetry in their work, and it is the poetry that I want to visually write in the images that I am going to form. Short poems.
