A dangerous rare disease associated with Covid-19 led Francisco Costa, 13, to be admitted to the ICU of D.Estefânia Hospital, in Lisbon. At that time two hundred children around the world developed a pathology that had already caused deaths and symptoms similar to Kawasaki disease and Toxic Shock syndrome. In Portugal it was the first case. A serological test identified the presence of the new coronavirus. Days later of being sedated and intubated, he reacted positively to the therapy.
