When the first snow arrived this year in the south of Austria, I instantly drove up the closest mountain and hiked through the deeply snowed woods. I searched for special compositions of the trees and for unusual situations. Then I detected the group where one tree was covered with snow, even on the trunk. With an ICM (Intentional camera movemement) I created my own view of this composition.
I started working as a photographer in the late 80ies. After learning a lot of skills in a photostudio in Graz, I started as a self-empoyed photographer in 1995. Since then I´m mostly working as an architectural-, hotel- and imagephotographer. From the beginning of my career I had a strong relation to fineart- and landscapephotography. After winning a few international awards, I created my own brand "Fotoreiserei" for phototravels and workshops, where I teach interested photographers seeing and creating new visions.
