Sometimes our surroundings become so familiar, we struggle to be amazed. We have already seen them in all kinds of ways and from every possible point of view.

The Lone Home decontextualises the familiar surrounding being photographed, compressing many moments into a single frame. It balances between representation of reality and the so-called realities we choose to notice. Scenes that maybe familiar, and at the same time utterly foreign.
