I wanted to purely capture the beauty, strength and pride of a woman. Of women.
So many attempts are being made daily at silencing us. Yet we overcome because we are strong. Because we stand together. Because we are Proud. Beautiful. Graceful. Vulnerable. Unique. Unapologetic.

These photographs for me are inspired by the powerful poem by Nayyirah Waheed. “yes. yes i do. have the right to be this lush and neverending.”
