Absence is a series about missing, pleasure and longing after a break up. A visual “diary”of the different stages within the adaptation that springs from a separation. These images convey the limbo of the aftermath of a break up and the many feelings that embody this experience. Separations can shatter and make us rethink even our existence while (re)assembling us.
The photographs go in no specific “stage” or progression; they function as limbos in themselves to elucidate the sometimes blurry and abstract conglomerate of emotions and expressions within the reverberations of a separation.
