Antonia is a 64-year-old woman with schizophrenia. She lives between her home and the clinics that are constantly fighting the disease. She loves to write scattered thoughts on all kinds of paper. In the few moments of lucidity she shows her docile and affectionate character. Antonia is a chronic patient and she will have to share her life with this disease.
I was born in Rome, I live and work in my city. I start to get interested in photography as a tool of personal expression.
My main interest soon focuses on documentary and social photography with a predisposition for long-term photographic projects.
Since 2013 I have decided to tackle some social issues photographically, starting a path of research and study that leads me to continuous dialogue with professionals in the world of Photography. In recent years I have collaborated with photographic associations and exhibited in various collective and personal exhibitions.
